Screen component Description
Management interface

This link opens a browser to the HPE iPDU through its IP address.

Location

The location of the device in the physical rack. The term not set means that you have not added the device to the rack configuration.

Select RacksActionsEdit to specify the location of the device.

Powered by

The parent delivery device that supplies power to this device. The term unspecified means that you have not specified the parent delivery device.

Select Power Delivery DevicesActionsEdit or RacksActionsEdit to specify the parent power delivery device.

Add or edit Unmanaged Devices

Screen component Description
Name

A name that enables you to identify the particular unmanaged device.

Data type:

A maximum of 255 alphanumeric characters, including spaces

Default value:

iLO or the Onboard Administrator name for any automatically added unmanaged device.

Model

The model name of the unmanaged device.

Data type:

A maximum of 255 alphanumeric characters, including spaces

Height

The height of the unmanaged device.

Data type:

U (rack unit)

Default value:

Inferred from the height of the specific device model

Maximum power

The maximum power, in watts, that the unmanaged device can consume. The appliance uses this information to monitor power capacity and analyze power consumption for the rack and for any power delivery device attached to the unmanaged device.

You can obtain this information from the device specifications, the calibrated maximum power reported by the device (if available), the HPE Power Advisor (which you can download from http://www.hpe.com/info/hpepoweradvisor), or your estimate of the maximum power consumption for the device.
