This will create a full copy based on the data in the snapshot. For large volumes, this can take a long time depending on storage system resources available for the copy action.

Creating a volume from a snapshot

From the main menu, select Volumes.

In the master pane, select the volume for which you want to create a snapshot and navigate to the Snapshot view.

Locate the snapshot from which you want to create a volume and click Create volume.

Edit the values shown on the screen. See Create Volume From Snapshot for more information.

Verify that the volume has been created by reviewing the details pane.
