Remove a storage system
[NOTE: ]

NOTE: When you remove a storage system from the appliance, storage pools on the storage system are removed automatically. You cannot remove storage pools that have volumes or volume templates associated with them.

Prerequisites

  • Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Storage administrator.

  • You have removed any volumes on the storage system from management.

  • Your have deleted any volume templates that specify a storage pool on the storage system.

Removing a storage system

  1. From the main menu, select Storage Systems.

  2. In the master pane, select the storage system you want to remove.

  3. Select Actions→Remove.

  4. Review the confirmation message, if any, and click Yes, remove to remove the storage system.

  5. Verify that the storage system has been removed in the master pane.
