Time and Locale panel screen details

Screen component	Description
Time	Current date in `yyyy–mm–dd` format, followed by a space character, followed by the current time in `hh:mm:ss` format
Network time server	IP address or fully qualified domain name for up to three network time servers

Setting type	Screen component	Description
Synchronizing with the VM host	Synchronize with VM host	Synchronize the date and time for the appliance with its VM host.
Synchronizing with the VM host	Current date and time	Displays the current the date and time from the VM host.
Synchronize with one or more time server	Synchronize with time server	Specifies that you are referencing a network time server to provide the date and time.
	Network time server (three fields)	The IP address or fully qualified domain name for one to three network time servers. You can specify the appliance as one of the time servers.
	Current date and time	Displays the current the date and time from the network time server. Also displays an indication of the time zone with respect to UTC.
	Default language / locale	The default language, as defined by the locale. To delete the current setting field, click the icon. Choose from the available selections
Setting the time and date manually	Manual	Specifies that you are setting the date, time, and language/locale manually.
	Current date and time	Displays the appliance’s current time and date setting and allows you to enter the date and time manually.
	Default language / locale	The default language, as defined by the locale.
