Change to a dual-stack protocol

To change the appliance from an IPv4 protocol to dual-stack (to run both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols), update the appliance network setting.

Prerequisites 

  • Minimum required privileges: Infrastructure administrator

  • Verify that the Onboard Administrator has IPv6 addresses enabled

Changing to a dual-stack environment

  1. From the main menu, navigate to the Settings screen.

  2. Click Edit in the Appliance panel.

  3. In the IPv6 view, select an IPv6 address assignment.

  4. Click OK to reconfigure the appliance network.
