About security settings

The Security settings enable you to:

Obtain and install an HPE public key, which verifies that:
- Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided its software packages (RPMs) and updates.
- The code has not been modified since it was signed.
Generate a self-signed certificate when authentication by a certificate authority is not required or available.
Generate a certificate signing request for a certificate that establishes the authenticity of your public keys and verifies them through a certificate authority. You can also import to the appliance the certificate granted by the certificate authority.
