Create a scope

Creating a scope

1. Do one of the following:

   • From the main menu, click Settings, and then in the Scopes panel, click Create scope.

   • From the main menu, click Settings, click Scopes, and then select Actions→Create scope.

   • From the master pane of the Scopes page, click + Create scope

2. Supply the data requested in the Create Scope screen.

3. Optionally add resources to the scope by clicking Add Resources and supplying the data in the Add Resources to Scope screen.

   Click Add to return to the Create Scope screen.

4. Do one of the following:

   • Select Create to create a single scope and return to the Scopes page.

   • Select Create+ to create the specified scope and prepare to create another one. The resource list remains intact but the Name and Description fields are cleared.

5. Verify that the scope was created. The number of scopes in the Scopes page increments by the number of scopes added.
