When you add a SAN manager to HPE OneView, a session to the specified management point is established. SANs that have been configured at the management point are discovered by HPE OneView and displayed on the SANs screen. Discovered SANs can be associated with networks in HPE OneView, and can be configured for automatic zoning.

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Storage administrator.

The SAN manager is supported by HPE OneView. See the HPE OneView Support Matrix for more information about supported SAN managers.

The SAN manager is configured properly. For more information, see Configuring SAN managers to be managed by HPE OneView.
Adding a SAN manager

From the main menu, select SAN Managers, and do one of the following:

Click + Add SAN manager in the master pane.

NOTE: The Actions menu is not visible until you add at least one SAN manager.

Enter the data requested on the screen. See Add or Edit a SAN Manager screen details for more information.

Click Add to complete the action or click Add + to add another SAN manager.

Verify that the SAN manager has been added in the master pane.
