Copy a server profile template

You can copy a server profile template to a new template with the same server hardware type and in the same enclosure group (for server blades).

Prerequisites

  • Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Server administrator

Copying a server profile template

  1. From the main menu, select Server Profile Templates.

  2. In the master pane, select the server profile template that you want to copy.

  3. Select Actions→Copy.

  4. Specify a unique entry for Name.

  5. Specify any other updates you want to make to the server profile template. For more information, see Server Profile Templates screen details.

    NOTE: You cannot change Server hardware type and Enclosure group.

  6. Click Create.

  7. Verify that the new template was created in the master pane.
