Edit a logical switch

A maximum of two switches is allowed. If there is only one switch, you can edit switch data and add a second switch. If there are two switches, you can delete one of them. Additionally, the operational mode of the logical switch can be changed between Monitored and Managed.


	NOTE: Editing a logical switch can make it inconsistent with its logical switch group. To make the logical switch consistent, update the logical switch from the logical switch group.

Prerequisites

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Network administrator

Editing a logical switch

From the main menu, select Logical Switches.
In the master pane, select the logical switch that you want to edit and select Actions→Edit.
Edit the values shown on the screen.
Confirm your changes, and click OK to apply them.
Verify that the changes appear in the details pane.
