A logical switch operating in one operation mode can be changed to another mode.

When changing a logical switch from operational mode monitored to managed, you might be required to reconfigure interconnects specified by the logical switch before the configurations are applied at the switches in the logical switch.

When changing the operational mode from operational mode managed to monitored, you are warned that existing configurations might no longer be operational, but they will not be removed from the logical switch. Any future configuration of the monitored logical switch must be performed outside of HPE OneView management. For FEX interconnects, server profile connections are marked as failed.

From the main menu, select Logical Switches.

Select a logical switch that is currently operating in
Monitoredmode, and then do one of the following:-
Select Actions→Edit, and then select
Managed. -
From the General panel, select the
Edit icon, and then select Managed.
