Create a logical switch

Prerequisites

  • Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Network administrator

  • The logical switch that you add is not managed by another HPE OneView

Creating a logical switch

  1. From the main menu, select Logical Switches, then do one of the following:

    • Click + Create logical switch.

    • Select Actions→Create.

  2. Select the operational mode of the logical switch, Monitored or Managed, and then enter the data requested on the screen. See the Create or edit logical switch screen details.

  3. Click Create to complete the action or click Create + to create another logical switch.

  4. Verify in the master pane that the logical switch has been created.
