Enable or disable Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) tagging

Enable LLDP tagging when creating or editing a logical interconnect group or logical interconnect.

Prerequisites

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Network administrator
Minimum required Virtual Connect firmware version: 4.45

Enabling LLDP tagging when creating a logical interconnect group

To enable LLDP tagging, set it when creating a logical interconnect group.

Create a logical interconnect group.
- Locate Interconnect Settings, and then select LLDP tagging.
To verify the LLDP tagging was enabled, make sure the setting shows Enabled in the Interconnect Settings view.

Enabling or disabling LLDP tagging on an existing logical interconnect group or logical interconnect

Edit the logical interconnect group or the logical interconnect.
Locate Interconnect Settings, and then change the LLDP tagging setting.
- Select LLDP tagging to enable.
- Deselect LLDP tagging to disable.
To verify the LLDP tagging was changed, view the setting in the Interconnect Settings view.
