View data transfer statistics for uplink and downlink ports

Use the Interconnects screen to view the Bit Transfer Rate graph and the Packet Transfer Rate graph for an interconnect port over time.

Prerequisites 

  • Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Network administrator, or Server administrator

  • Applies to managed HPE interconnects and monitored Cisco Fabric Extender for HPE BladeSystem modules only

Viewing data transfer statistics for uplink ports

  1. From the main menu, select Interconnects, and then select the Uplink ports view.

  2. Select the uplink port for which you want to view transfer statistics, and then do the following:

    • Hover your pointer over the meter in the Utilization column.

      The Bit Transfer Rate graph is displayed.

    • Expand the additional port details section by clicking the icon.

      • Expand the Statistics section (available if an interconnect supports statistics) by clicking the icon.

        The uplink port statistics are displayed, which include the Bit Transfer Rate graph and the Packet Transfer Rate graph.

      • Expand the Advanced Statistics section (available if an interconnect supports statistics) by clicking the icon.

Viewing data transfer statistics for downlink ports

  1. From the main menu, select Interconnects, and then select the Downlink ports view.

  2. Select the downlink port for which you want to view transfer statistics, and then do the following:

    • Hover your pointer over the meter in the Utilization column.

      The Bit Transfer Rate graph is displayed.

    • Expand the additional port details section by clicking the icon.

      • Expand the Statistics section (available if an interconnect supports statistics) by clicking the icon.

        The downlink port statistics are displayed, which include the Bit Transfer Rate graph and the Packet Transfer Rate graph.

      • Expand the Advanced Statistics section (available if an interconnect supports statistics) by clicking the icon.
