Use the Interconnects screen to enable and disable ports on an interconnect.

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Network administrator.

Applies to managed HPE Virtual Connect interconnects and monitored Cisco Fabric Extender for HPE BladeSystem modules only.

Interconnect firmware must be at the minimum supported level for the appliance to manage the interconnect. See the appropriate support or compatibility matrix on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Information Library for the minimum supported interconnect firmware.
Enabling or disabling an uplink port or downlink port on an interconnect

From the main menu, select Interconnects, and do one of the following:

In the master pane, select the interconnect you want to edit and select Actions→Edit.

Hover your pointer in the details pane and click the Edit icon.

To modify the status of an uplink port or downlink port, select the box in the Enabled column to enable the port, or clear the box to disable the port.

To verify the changes, view the Uplink ports and Downlink ports in the details pane.
