Firmware Bundles screen details

The Firmware screen displays all installed firmware bundles and contents, with the most recently installed bundle listed first. Select a firmware bundle to display additional information about it. The Storage remaining panel displays the amount of storage space available in the firmware repository on the appliance. You cannot add a firmware bundle that is larger than the amount of space available in the repository. If no resources are listed, you must add a resource. General

Version

Version number of the firmware bundle.

Size

Size of the firmware bundle.

Type

Type of firmware bundle such as Custom, Hotfix, and SPP. See About firmware bundles for more information.

Description

Description of the firmware bundle.

Used by

The names of the components that are using the firmware bundle. For each component named, the following information is displayed.

  • Number of logical enclosures associated with the firmware bundle. The number is a hyperlink to the Logical Enclosure screen, filtered to show the list of logical enclosures associated with the firmware bundle.

  • Number of logical interconnects associated with the firmware bundle. The number is a hyperlink to the Logical Interconnect screen, filtered to show the list of logical interconnects associated with the firmware bundle.

  • Number of server profiles associated with the firmware bundle. The number is a hyperlink to the Server Profiles screen, filtered to show the list of server profiles associated with the firmware bundle.

  • Number of server profile templates associated with the firmware bundle. The number is a hyperlink to the Server Profile Templates screen, filtered to show the list of server profile templates associated with the firmware bundle.

  • Number of serial attached SCSI (SAS) logical interconnects associated with the firmware bundle. The number is a hyperlink to the Logical Interconnects screen, filtered to show the list of SAS logical interconnects associated with the firmware bundle.

  • If firmware bundle is not associated with any resources, None is displayed.

Languages the firmware bundle supports such as English (US), Japanese, and so on.

Names of the operating systems that the firmware bundle supports.
