You can add enclosures to inventory and monitor the hardware. For more information about monitored enclosures, see About monitored c7000 enclosures.

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Server administrator.
Adding an enclosure to monitor the hardware

From the main menu, select Enclosures and do one of the following:

Click + Add enclosure in the master pane.

Select Actions→Add.

Enter the data requested on the screen. See Add c7000 enclosure.

Choose Add or Add +. See Button functions.
If you have more enclosures to add, you can add the next enclosure immediately; you do not have to wait for the last Add Enclosure action to complete before starting the next.

Verify that the enclosure has been added in the master pane.
