Adding an enclosure brings the enclosure, server hardware, and interconnects under management.
For c7000, you add an enclosure by providing its IP address or host name, along with the OA credentials.

Required privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Server administrator.

Adding a c7000 enclosure to manage its contents

From the main menu, select Enclosures and do one of the following:

Click + Add enclosure in the master pane.

Select Actions→Add.

Enter the data requested on the screen. See Add c7000 enclosure.

Choose Add or Add +. See Button functions.
If you have more enclosures to add, you can add the next enclosure immediately; you do not have to wait for the last Add Enclosure action to complete before starting the next.
You must supply a new IP address or host name for each enclosure, but the Onboard Administrator Name and Password credentials are retained on the screen as a convenience if you use the same credentials for multiple enclosures.

Verify that the enclosure has been added by confirming the enclosure is listed in the master pane.
