Moving a monitored enclosure to managed status

1. From the main menu, select Enclosures.

2. In the master pane, select the enclosure that you want to move to a managed status.

   	NOTE: To run this action on more than one object, use the Shift or Ctrl keys to select multiple objects in the master pane. For more information, see Performing an action on multiple resources

3. Remove the enclosure from HPE OneView. See Remove a c7000 enclosure from HPE OneView management.

   	NOTE: In Onboard Administrator, you might see a user account called HPE OneViewMonitor after removing a monitored enclosure in HPE OneView. This account does not impact the remove enclosure process and you can delete this account manually in Onboard Administrator.

4. Do one of the following:

   • To retain the enclosure’s VCM configuration, Migrate the enclosure to manage its content.

     For more information, see About migrating c7000 enclosures managed by other management systems .

   • To add a new enclosure including adding a new configuration, Add the enclosure to manage its content.
