Edit an email recipient and filter entry

Use this procedure when you need to change the recipient, update the filter to capture alerts, or both.

Prerequisites 

  • Minimum required privileges: Infrastructure administrator.

  • Email notification must be configured.

  • The specified alert to capture.

  • List of potential recipients if that alert is generated.

    You can add as many as 100 entries so that you can tailor the notifications.

Editing an email recipient and filter entry

  1. From the main menu, select Settings.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • In the Notifications panel, click .

    • Click Notifications, and then select ActionsEdit.

  3. Locate the entry you want to edit in the Filters list and click the corresponding icon.

  4. Change the appropriate data in the Edit Alert Email Filter screen.

  5. Click OK.

    The Filters list displays your edited entry.

  6. Verify your changes, and click OK to apply them.
