Filter the view of a resource based on its status on the Dashboard

To filter the view of a resource based on its health status, perhaps to troubleshoot resources in a warning or critical state, click the associated status icon or click on a section of the chart.

Filtering resource views from the Dashboard

To troubleshoot issues when a Status chart is reporting that one or more instances of a resource are in a non—normal status (such as Critical or Warning), perform the following steps. This procedure uses Server Hardware in a Critical status as an example. But you can perform this procedure and select any status to navigate to the resources filtered on that status.

  1. On the Dashboard Server Hardware status chart, click the Critical status icon or the red slice of the chart to navigate to the server hardware view filtered to resources in a Critical status.

    Server hardware with a Critical status appears in the Server Hardware screen master pane, which you can then use to investigate further.

  2. To reset the filter to the default view of server hardware, regardless of status, do one of the following:

    • Click Reset next to the Filters menu in the banner.

    • Select All statuses from the filter menu.
