Add a dashboard panel

Any user can add pre-defined or customized panels to your dashboard.

Adding a pre-defined dashboard panel

  1. Click the icon in the upper right corner of the dashboard as shown in Dashboard sample and click Add to open the add dialog box.

  2. Select the desired pre-defined Panel from the panel list.

  3. Click Add to complete the action or click Add + to add another dashboard panel.

  4. Verify the panel is now displayed on the Dashboard screen.

Adding a custom dashboard panel

  1. Click the icon in the upper right corner of the dashboard as shown in Dashboard sample and click Add to open the add dialog box.

  2. For Panel, select Custom.

  3. Choose a resource type, a title, and an optional dashboard query.

  4. Under Data sets, select Type.

    • If you select Status, skip to step 7.

    • If you select Custom, go to step 5.

  5. Type a caption for your chart.

  6. Click Add slice to open the Add Slice dialog box and add slices to the custom chart.

  7. Click Add to complete the action or click Add + to add another dashboard panel.

  8. Verify the panel is now displayed on the Dashboard screen.
