Using remoteSyslog

The remoteSyslog resource in HPE OneView provides APIs for remote log configuration. You can obtain the logs from HPE OneView managed resources by doing the following:

Configure HPE OneView for a remoteSyslog relay.

NOTE: This API configures the remote system logging on devices managed in HPE OneView. The logs are relayed directly from the devices which natively support remote system logging.

This feature is supported only for version Gen 8 and greater servers and for c7000 enclosures.

Fetch remoteSyslog configuration

You can fetch the current remoteSyslog configuration.

Get the current remoteSyslog configuration. `GET /rest/logs/remoteSyslog`

Update remoteSyslog configuration

You can update the remoteSyslog configuration.
