If you have an enclosure with an Virtual Connect Fibre Channel interconnect module and you want to bring the enclosure under management of the appliance, the interconnect’s firmware must be upgraded first in the following situations. See the HPE OneView Support Matrix for a list of supported Virtual Connect Fibre Channel interconnects.
-
If you have an Virtual Connect Fibre Channel interconnect with IPv6 addresses in an enclosure, the interconnect firmware version must be 4.10, the minimum supported baseline version.
-
If you have an Virtual Connect Fibre Channel interconnect in an enclosure by itself or with other Virtual Connect Fibre Channel interconnects only, the interconnect firmware version must be 4.10, the minimum supported baseline version.
