Enable or disable local logins

The appliance is configured to allow local logins by default.

If you disabled local logins so that you could use an authentication directory service exclusively, use this procedure to allow local logins.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum required session ID privileges: Infrastructure administrator

Enabling or disabling local logins using REST APIs

  1. Get the current status of local login.

    GET /rest/logindomains/global-settings/allow-local-login

  2. Enable or disable local logins.

    POST /rest/logindomains/global-settings/allow-local-login
