You can create a server profile for specific hardware or create an unassigned server profile. A server profile for specific hardware is based on the server hardware type and the enclosure group. The server hardware type associated with a specific server, automatically assigned when an enclosure is added, defines what BIOS settings can be applied along with other attributes. The enclosure group defines what connections are available to the server based on the logical interconnect group referenced by the enclosure group.
